It was so nice having my mom in town for 10 days! She was such a big help and we really miss her.

Seeing Geoff as a father has brought so much joy to me this week! I feel a closeness to him that is different than before. We created something together that we both love and cherish so much.. being parents is amazing!!

Going Home

Saturday night we dressed her in this outfit from Grandma Dorothy to leave the hospital in. It is a newborn size and she barely fits into it. Such a big girl!!

Best Valentine Present Ever!

We welcomed Cora Catherine Long into our family on Friday the 11th at 3:30 am!
8 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches

She is such a good baby, barely cries, loves snuggling into your neck, sleeps 4 hour stretches at night, and has the sweetest disposition. We love her so much!

DUE TODAY!

40 weeks

well, the date of Feb. 4th has finally arrived, but no baby girl yet! I'm feeling signs of labor like pressure, cramping, and the feeling that the baby is going to fall out! The doctor checked me 5 days ago, but was unable to see if I am dilated or not because of my cervix being posterior. I do feel like things are moving along though and we are hopeful that she will be here in a few days or maybe even TONIGHT!
